Monica Roberts (transgriot.com) used her gift to tell the stories of people in the Trans community with dignity and respect. In honor of Monica and her extraordinary legacy, TransTech Social Enterprises launched the Monica Roberts Essay & Blogger Contest. During the 2020 TransTech Summit we encouraged the community to use their original voice, unique style, fresh point of view, creativity, descriptive language, proper diction, “Realness”, clarity, valuable content and/or research, clarity, and peer impact for their entries. We would like to thank all of those that took the time to share their work, stories and truths with the community advisory board. After much deliberation we are proud to announce the winners of the inaugural Monica Roberts Essay Contest.
