Monica Roberts used her gift to tell the stories of people in the Trans community with dignity and respect. In honor of Monica and her extraordinary legacy, TransTech will be hosting a blogger award and Essay contest!

Requirements:
- Length: Your essay should be at least 1,000 words but should not exceed 1,250 words. Any words past 1,250 won’t be counted toward submission.
- The word count must be included on the document you submit.
- Essays must be your original work.
- The essay must be non-fiction and follow the form of a diary, journal, blog, memoir, or essay. We are seeking real stories about your real life.

- Proper diction
- “Realness”
- Interesting ideas
- Valuable content and/or research
